A fashion influencer is issuing a warning to her followers after nearly being “decapitated” by her scarf, which got caught under a moving car.
Eli Moulton spoke about the incident in a video posted last Sunday (17th). She explained that she was wearing a black dress and a long scarf for the opening of Glenelg BMW in Australia on August 11th.
“The dress that caught me in a chokehold,” she began, before turning to show the injuries on her neck. “Literally,” Moulton added.
In the caption, the influencer took the opportunity to issue a warning: “A reminder to girls: remove your neck scarves before entering or operating any heavy machinery! I almost decapitated myself by wrapping the scarf under the car on the way home.”
In the comments, she received a lot of support from followers. “Eli! That’s scary. Looks painful too. Hope you’re okay,” one wrote. “Poor thing! Wow, Eli!” said another.
“She’s a fighter. No scarf will break her. But also… I cried when you told me. Glad we still have each other,” wrote a third.
